Are you skilled at relationship building? Do you have the ability to analyse policy trends across the cultural, heritage and economic sphere and to understand their significance for the archive sector?

The National Archives is looking for a Strategic Partnership Manager to take the lead in developing the way that archives interact with cross-sectoral partners and stakeholders, and to speak up for archives within the ever-shifting policy landscape.

This exciting role will involve working closely with senior leaders, both within The National Archives and in external bodies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to analyse policy trends and communicate their implication for the archive sector, you will also work at a senior level to ensure that archives are represented in key decision making.

You will be able to demonstrate understanding of the impact of political decision-making and the ability to negotiate and influence effectively at a senior level. You will also have strong relationship building skills, with organisations in different sectors and be adept at using these relationships to develop real, lasting impact. You will have a track record of managing a demanding workload and prioritising effectively to achieve maximum impact.
