An exciting opportunity has become available at Maidenhead Aquatics @ Brigg for a Store Manager.

Maidenhead Aquatics is the UK’s number one specialist aquatic retailer with over 160 stores across the UK. Excellent career prospects and incentives exist for motivated and ambitious colleagues with a passion for all aspects of fishkeeping.

Previous experience as a Store Manager in a retail environment is essential, preferably within the aquatics industry, however, applicants with a proven management background and considerable fishkeeping knowledge will be considered.

Applicants Will Need To

Have an articulate, approachable and friendly manor, essential to maintain our high standards of customer care.

Deliver superb service throughout the store exceeding our customers’ expectations in in all aspects of livestock care and selection, product choice and presentation.

Be self-motivated, positive and organised.

Be reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic to learn.

Have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and be capable of leading a team confidently by example.

Be proficient at stock control, managing budgets and working to deadlines.

Be competent using Microsoft Office and email.
