We’re looking for an organised and motivated Stock controller to make sure all stock is rotated, inbound and outbound products meet standards of quality, condition and grade.

This position will be based at our Enfield Distribution Centre. Farmdrop runs a 24/7 operation and while hours will be night based, some degree of flexibility will be required.

Shift pattern 5 days in and 2 days off per week, which may be mixed depending on business needs, 42 hours a week.

This Role will include working within chilled and frozen environment and all relevant PPE will be provided.


Responsibilities

  • Stock rotation
  • Stock adjustments and movements, problem solving
  • Fresh food stock inspections, problem solving
  • Inspect produce for quality, grade and condition
  • Reject or accept incoming product at receiving and ensure appropriate processes are followed if rejection determined
  • Identify produce that does not meet quality standards and needs to be removed and disposed of
  • Waste recording
  • Maintain a high level of Hygiene and Health and Safety on site
  • Bagging up procedures to make sure products meet customer expectations
  • Picking orders if required
  • Communicate issues and concerns to Quality and Inventory managers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Stock Control procedures
  • Knowledge of Fresh Produce
  • Proactive mind set
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across different teams
  • Previous experience within a Stock Control or Warehouse environment
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Comfortable working with manual handling in a warehouse, including a cold refrigerated environment
