An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Static Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group, working at an abattoir site in Guildford, GU1 area.

Please note that this position is at an abattoir. Patrolling of the site is required.

Own transport required.

Hours: On Average 42 Hours per week. 4 On, 4 Off. Days, Nights & Weekends as per site rota - 06.00 - 18.00 / 18.00 - 06.00.


Pay rate: £9.50 per hour

Position - Skill Base Requirements:

A valid SIA licence; or applied for
A full five year checkable employment history;
Excellent customer service skills;
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Surveillance skills
Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
IT skills

Officers duties include

  • receive cattle deliveries, check passports match the quantity of cattle being delivered.
  • oversee the welfare of the cattle overnight, at weekends and Bank Holidays if any are in the lairage
  • are require to complete an animal welfare course plus attend 4 shifts on site for training
  • would deal with container collections at night
  • carry out clocking patrols
  • take temp reading from trailers over night
  • deal with visitors and contractors attending the site

Booking out all vehicles to site.
Site BIO Security.
Control of site keys.
Out of hours reception duties.
Site weigh bridge duties.
Animal welfare.
Pallet & Basker checks.
Site staff and vehicle searches including production areas.
Completion of waste documentation.
