The job: Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

This position within the EMEA Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is designed to bring a high level of analytical experience coupled with the ability to provide business insights and strategic direction to the BID Commercial Team via proactive commercial revenue and OPEX forecasting, planning and reporting activities.

We are looking for a results-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to support the Commercial Finance activities for assigned Sales Regions within a $1.3bn+ BID EMEA business.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, and data focused technical skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner to drive and influence actionable solutions.

This role would suit an individual with a passion for data analytics and a real desire to build a career and succeed within a fast paced, innovative FP&A function.

What will you do?
  • Responsible to set the forecasting processes and lead the review with the BID EMEA Commercial Teams by Region, Segment and main Product Lines.
  • Enhance accuracy of the overall forecasting process and improve predictive capabilities leveraging data science team expertise and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business partners to proactively generate key assumptions and drivers for decision support, independently conduct ad hoc data analysis to identify business insights and observations.
  • Develop, standardize, and improve regular analyses and reports to share business and financial insights, and support monthly /quarterly /annual forecasting and budgeting process (i.e. support MBR, QBR, AOP, etc.)
  • Drive continuous process improvement by taking part in PPIs and other cross-functional efficiency projects.
  • Build and update dashboards, PowerPoint and other business intelligence tools by data mining in various systems
  • Proactively learn and adopt new systems and tools to improve analytics capability and accuracy

Who we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-related field
  • Proficient user of systems (i.e. SAP, Hyperion, Hyperion planning, Power BI, Cognos, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization
  • Experience in using data to identify trends and build out reporting capabilities
