Connect Appointments have exciting opportunities for Spray Painter in the Falkirk area. Spray Painter pay rate: £15.24 per hour/ £29,321.76 per annum, increasing to £31,322 after 6 months + up to 35% shift premium Schedule: 39.25 working hours per week within a specific shift pattern across a 7-day work period. Shift patterns can include weekends, dayshift, and nightshift This is a permanent role which will reward you for your continued service. As a Spray Painter, your responsibilities will include:-Preparing vehicle bodies for paint and applying paint coating to different types of vehicle bodies
  • Using and selecting appropriate tools, equipment, and materials as required for work tasks
  • Using your core technical skills and experience to complete tasks on time and safely
  • Communicating any discrepancies or changes to works completed from engineering drawings to your supervisor and engineering teams
  • Ensuring your work area is maintained in a safe and tidy manner, and ensuring that calibration of tooling is up to date and any issues are responded to The ideal Spray Painter will be:
  • A time-serviced commercial Paint Sprayer
  • Comfortable with reading and working from technical drawings, schematics, and standard operating procedures
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills who is able to work as a part of a team or individually
  • Experienced in spray painting and the safe use of hazardous materials
