Connect Appointments seek to connect our client with highly motivated, organised, and driven individuals who will flourish as Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager. The successful candidate will be a resourceful and innovative leader with a proven track record, preferably from a high-risk environment.

As Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing ESH support and advice for Falkirk and Aberdeen (Mechanical and Electrical sites)
  • Maintaining an integrated management system and associated documentation within the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
  • Promoting and coaching others in the implementation of the ESH Management System by personal example and leadership
  • Ensuring that Safe Systems of Work are developed and implemented for all activities, through risk assessment and operating procedure
  • Managing the local audit and inspection programme to ensure effectiveness and compliance to the ESH Management System
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have
  • Proven ESH experience in a similar role
  • A level 3 NEBOSH National General Certificate
  • Knowledge of UK/European ESH standards/legislation
  • Membership of either IOSH/IEMA or equivalent HS&E bodies (advantageous)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
