In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management of all playing surfaces and surrounding areas, ensuring they meet the highest standards for School use, fixtures, and events. Your leadership will be central to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Grounds team, ensuring optimal allocation of labour resources, coordinated team holidays, and appropriate support for matches and fixtures. Uphold excellent customer service by communicating effectively with key School stakeholders, including the Director of Sport. As the Sports Turf Manager, your responsibilities will include planning and undertaking scheduled departmental tasks, managing budgets, and maintaining financial records. Compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental management are paramount aspects of your role. Your qualifications, including an NVQ L3 in Sports Turf Maintenance, and your passion for multi-sports turf maintenance will contribute to the success of the department.
