Our client, an educational establishment based in beautiful surroundings in Egham, is looking for a Sports and Activities Assistant to work within their prestigious sports facility.

Duties Will Include

Assist in the planning, coordination and scheduling of the use of the sports facilities Assist with the organisation of and participation in sports tournaments and fixtures Manage booking system for sports facilities Act as keyholder and open and close facility ensuring building/equipment checks are carried out as per daily log Provide sports coaching as required by each sports season Creation and upkeep of sports facility risk assessments Ensure safeguarding measures are followed Maintain inventories of equipment and allocate equipment and uniforms. Order replacements when required Ensure sports facilities are maintained regularly and liaise with internal maintenance department and outside contractors when required Organise transport for offsite events Management of minibuses and driver schedules ensuring all driving qualifications are kept up to date and any necessary training organised Occasional minibus driving when required

Candidates Should Have The Following Expertise And Attributes

Level 2 Coaching qualification or demonstrable experience of sports coaching Current First Aid at Work qualification Experience of driving a minibus Purchasing experience and budget management Creation of risk assessments Excellent communication skills Proactive, able to work independently Flexible "can do" attitude Safeguarding and DBS Own transport due to limited public services
