Due to additional investment an exciting opportunity to join an established Children in Care Nursing team has arisen. There are 2 permanent posts, one full-time (37.5 hours) and one part-time (22.5 hours). Please advise on interview which post you prefer. Although the service operates Monday to Friday, covering core hours of 9-5, there is a requirement to show flexibility to meet service needs and the needs of children and young people.

We are looking for committed and creative individuals to be part of the team taking the next steps in improving health outcomes for our Children in Care.

We are looking to recruit motivated practitioners, with initiative and drive, and up to date knowledge of the Children in Care health agenda. You will work as part of a team delivering statutory health assessments and health interventions for a defined caseload. You will need to have a broad understanding of children and young people’s health issues. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate flexibility and creative thinking in respect of service delivery.

Knowledge of recent documents and strategies driving the development of services for Children in Care is essential as well as understanding the principles of safeguarding children and young people.
