Let’s talk about the City Operations team ️
The City Operations mission is to ensure the delivery of world-class operations in every Stuart City. As the on the ground team, we are at the forefront of the operation and have to consider all of Stuart’s stakeholders as we make decisions each day on balancing delivering exceptional client experience with profitability. To help us make these important decisions, we work closely with the other operational and commercial teams to ensure we have all the required data. We’re passionate about delivering the best possible client experience and are continually looking to improve the operation by using our on the ground execution expertise to improve or suggest improvements to the tools, processes and features supporting Stuart’s success. From leading the operational rollout of new and existing clients to setting incentives daily and weekly, understanding the improvement opportunities, we are deeply involved in ensuring the successful growth of Stuart. Not only through ensuring the delivery in each city of the highest possible client experience but by working closely with the commercial team to understand the opportunities and helping build solutions to take advantage of these.
We’re looking for a South West Regional Manager to join the Regional Management team, part of the wider Performance Team at Stuart UK. You will report to the Yorkshire and South Area Manager. You will focus on delivering world-class service to our clients at all times through insights-driven analysis, excellent planning and meticulous execution. You will be working across stakeholders to pinpoint areas for improvements in the South West and apply targeted performance strategies. You will be at the forefront of the South West operation, running and maximising the operations on a day-by-day and week-by-week basis.
You will be responsible for working across teams and departments to ensure the smooth running of our on-demand client operations in the South West. You will work across teams and departments to ensure the correct courier supply is in place, devise courier incentive strategies, provide performance insights and analyses as well as prepare and execute for client launches and roll-outs.

What will I be doing?

    • Responsible for the daily on-demand operations for our clients in the South West
    • Owner of financial and operational decisions in the South West
    • Allocating budget effectively to match supply and demand - working with Profitability and the Fleet Management team to ensure that we have enough riders in the right place at the right time
    • Working closely with Commercial & Account Management to understand client requirements & adapting the daily operations to satisfy client needs & achieve client SLAs
    • Working closely with the Regional Management Performance Analysts to build performance deep dives & conduct root cause analyses into on-demand performance
    • Identifying areas for operational improvement based on your analyses, operational understanding and courier feedback
    • Managing a team of one Junior Operations Executive who will support you with operational execution and fixes across the region
    • Working with the expansion team to vet and prepare for new store roll-outs across South West for new clients

What do we need from you?

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in a logistics, operations or consulting role
    • You have a strong analytical mindset and are able to apply numbers to actions
    • You are a strong communicator and have experience working with different stakeholders across departments
    • You are inquisitive and forward-thinking - curious, thoughtful and confident questioning the status-quo
