Fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef at a popular Golf Club with Restaurant facility. The right candidate will be passionate about food, enthusiastic and be comfortable working as part of a small team and on their own. Job Purpose: Working alongside our Head Chef you will manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing waiting staff, aiding with menu preparation and development, ensuring food quality and freshness, monitoring ordering and stock. Job Duties: Leads waiting staff team in Head chef’s absence Oversees and organises kitchen stock and ingredients Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimises waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns Works with head chef to maintain kitchen organisation, staff ability, and training opportunities Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed Assists head chef with menu creation The Right Person Will…

  • Experience working in a busy and varied kitchen environment
  • Be a team worker and have leadership skills

  • Have experience in dealing with Health & Safety
