The Role As part of our ambitious growth plans, we’re significantly investing in our Nottingham based product and technology teams who develop award winning software that enables renewable energy operators to digitalise their operations and maintenance. Working closely with our expert engineering teams, we’re developing an integrated platform using the latest Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning technologies to allow customers to manage large fleets of wind turbines. We’re looking for a Product Designer ideally with a background of working on or an understanding of the design of technically based engineering applications. You’ll take a consultative approach and work collaboratively with our Front End development team on component design and our Product Management team on user experience. You’ll be used to working at a pretty fast pace, as no two days are the same at ONYX. You could be handling multiple projects at any one time so therefore you’ll need to be flexible but have the ability to refocus quickly - experience of working within an agile design environment is essential for this role. Ideally you’ll have: -4 years UI/UX/design experience -Successfully rolled out and implemented a design philosophy - An understanding of software development -Used Figma & explored design prototype tools -An up to date portfolio About ONYX ONYX Insight is a growing technology and engineering organisation in the renewable energy sector.
