PMO Analyst

We are recruiting for a Software PMO Analyst to work for this massive, global eCommerce business who are located in Kingston upon Thames, on the Surrey / South West London border in newly refurbished state of the art offices. This Software PMO Analyst will operate a hybrid WFH / WFO and is paying up to £50,000 per annum coupled with a excellent benefits package.

Due to significant growth and expansion are client is now recruiting a Software PMO Analyst. The PMO within the business has recently been set up to bring more structure to the Portfolio Delivery function and establish a unified approach to delivery across the business. The PMO are standardising governance, processes and approach within the teams to better track deliverables, budgets, reporting, risks, status etc.

Job Accountabilities

This role will involve working closely with the PMO Manager, Programme, Project and Delivery Managers on governance, resource and capacity planning across a portfolio of approx. 250 people.
First and foremost, you must have experience as a PMO Analyst and you must be able to describe the types of software development projects you have been involved with managing in the past, as well as any exposure you might have had to a PMO governance processes.
  • Working with the team on forecasting and capacity for upcoming deliverables
  • Reporting on resource and capacity status on a regular basis for new and existing pieces of work
  • Liaising closely with Programme, Project Managers to understand their resource requirements, capacity and upcoming work challenges based on delivery plans and pipeline
  • Developing and managing a capacity plan and resource allocation governance across IT.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Experience of resource and capacity planning across multiple teams in an IT Delivery environment. Ideally 3 years’ + experience in this area would be preferable
  • Experience of using portfolio management tools specifically focused on resource planning
  • PMO and Delivery Lifecycle experience preferable
  • Experience of working in a busy IT delivery environment
  • Strong reporting skills; ability to collate, analyse, validate and interpret data with complete accuracy
