IT Project Manager

Due to our client’s incredibly aggressive growth plans coming out of the pandemic, this huge and well known eCommerce business are looking to recruit a seasoned and experienced IT Project Manager to deliver a number of high profile software projects. This IT Project Manager role is hybrid role based between our client’s offices in Kingston upon Thames on the Surrey / South West London border and WFH, with the role paying up-to £80,000 per annum (dependant on experience) and coupled with a generous benefits package.

We are now recruiting for an IT Project Manager to own, lead and manage the planning, initiation, delivery and closure of projects, ensuring that the projects are delivered to time, to budget and to quality standards. You will also plan, coordinate and monitor projects and be self-directed, proactive and innovative in the management of your own workload and the risks, issues and dependencies to successful business outcomes.

Job Accountabilities
  • Manage virtual high-performing project teams in a matrix environment spanning internationally
  • Deliver a high quality of Project management of IT projects within the dnata Project Management framework
  • Ensure that projects are initiated correctly and within the delivery framework governance model
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies & assumptions across all projects.
  • Support the development of the business case and feasibility studies with key business stakeholders
  • Construct, maintain and report on budgets for projects and be responsible for early indication of variances outside agreed tolerance levels.
  • Responsible for quality management of the projects deliverables, ensuring adequate quality control and quality assurance.
  • Qualifications, Skills and Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience working in Agile IT Delivery as an IT Project Manager or Senior IT
      Project Manager.
    • A demonstrable track record of managing and delivering complex projects within a software focussed
      environment, preferably with eCommerce experience.
    • Project planning and organisation skills
    • Problem solving and analytical
