We are looking for an Implementation Consultant with excellent demonstrated project implementation skills. The Implementation Specialist’s responsibility is to provide product training, application configuration, extract and interpret requirements to offer product-based solutions, facilitate product change orders and assist the Project Manager on moving the project forward. You will work closely with colleagues and customers’ key personnel in a project team, in partnership to achieve the shared objective of implementing the FMS.

The ideal candidates will be based in North West of England within commutable distance to our UK office in Manchester. This role may require travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays both within the UK and Internationally.

THE POSITION

We are looking for an Implementation Consultant with excellent demonstrated project implementation skills. The Implementation Specialist’s responsibility is to provide product training, application configuration, extract and interpret requirements to offer product-based solutions, facilitate product change orders and assist the Project Manager on moving the project forward. You will work closely with colleagues and customers’ key personnel in a project team, in partnership to achieve the shared objective of implementing the FMS.The ideal candidates will be based in North West of England within commutable distance to our UK office in Manchester. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work dynamically as part of a Project team to deliver implementations for new customers, or upgrades to existing customers
  • Develop extensive knowledge of our products and our customer’s processes and issues, to offer consultative services to our customers
  • Use your knowledge of our products and our customer’s process and issues to provide standard or tailored solutions to our customers’ problems or challenges
  • Implement and train end-users on how to maximize AssetWorks FleetFocus software modules
  • Conduct detailed business process analysis consulting and document the resulting requirements
  • Consult with customers related to system design and configuration to achieve desired workflows
  • Translate customer requirements into functional/technical specifications for enhancements, interfaces, conversions and reports
  • Implement software modules and deliver high quality, focused training classes for both train-the-trainer and end-user-oriented classes on areas of the system per documented workflows. These classes may be remote via teleconference or on-premise
  • Perform testing and validation of software enhancements on behalf of our customers and internal initiatives, post development cycle
  • Support live operations transition for customer(s) onsite at their facilities and perform requisite troubleshooting as necessary
  • Create, update and provide insight on internal and external training and implementation materials
  • Facilitate project team and customer meetings effectively
  • Communicate relevant project information to assigned project manager, direct manager and other departments (Development, Customer Care, QA, Sales) effectively and timely
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Interface professionally with other internal departments
  • Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Set and manage customer expectations on projects, especially where documented scope is related
  • Manage day-to-day customer interaction on assigned projects
  • Communicate effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Develop long-term, positive relationships with customer personnel increasing overall account satisfaction
  • Submit timesheets and expenses in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned by line manager

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Own transport to attend customer sites
  • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work remotely and when travelling for a customer
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience delivering multi-phased software implementations in a project-controlled environment
  • Strong communication skills between customers and internal departments.
  • Strong aptitude towards software and quickly changing technology
  • Experience within the fleet, logistics and vehicle workshop industries is strongly desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL databases is advantageous but not essential
  • Understanding of basic accounting, and how costs are treated in enterprise systems is advantageous but not essential
