Software Developer (Python Node.js AWS Agile). Are you a skilled Software Developer looking for a role where you can make a real impact, take ownership, and progress your career into a leadership or senior position within 6 months?

You could be joining a hugely successful insurance company that provide white-labelled services to a range of retailers.

As a Software Developer, you will be joining the team at an exciting time as they undergo a massive tech transformation, introducing modern tools and technologies and migrating to the Cloud (AWS). You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying Greenfield features and services that will be used by millions of customers globally and will help to support and create the AWS infrastructure and continuous delivery pipelines within an Agile development environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to make your mark as a Software Developer within a team that will encourage you to bring your own ideas and choose technologies and tools that you believe are best for the job at hand.

The company is based in brand new modern and spacious offices in Wimbledon. You will be able to work remotely 3 days a week if preferred.

Requirements:
  • You are an experienced developer who has good knowledge of Python and Node.js
  • You have experience working on Cloud platforms (AWS)
  • You are highly pragmatic and have tonnes of initiative
  • You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Algorithms
  • You have a strong knowledge of software development best practices, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps techniques
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
