Software Developer (Java Distributed Systems Kafka Kubernetes AWS SpringBoot). Would you like to utilise your Software Developer skills within a growing FinTech that works with a number of well-known global companies?

As a Software Developer you’ll be joining a brand new team who are responsible for managing, designing and developing the core components that underpin the company’s core banking platform. You’ll be looking at the existing components and at system design problems to make improvements utilising a range of tools and technologies including Java 11, SpringBoot, Kotlin, Kafka and Kubernetes. This is an exciting chance to be part of a team who are at the centre of engineering excellence and set the standards for the rest of the engineering teams to aspire to.

You can work from home for this role as long as you are able to commute to the London based office 1 day a week. When you’re in the office you can enjoy a great team environment with spacious dining area with breakfast, snacks and drinks as well as games rooms and quiet spaces.

Requirements:
  • Strong Java 11 and SpringBoot development skills
  • Experience working on distributed systems with a focus on scalability, robustness and availability
  • Experience using Kafka
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Experience consulting with various engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
