General Summary

As a member of QCT’s Mobile Business unit, you will be part of the team responsible for commercialization of new cellular technologies. This includes collaborating with device makers and European operators to test modem software, verifying 4G/5G protocols & features, and providing technical support towards new technology trials and demos at various trade shows and events.

Daily Task Include, But Not Limited To
  • Customer/Carrier technical support for 5G SA/NSA, sub6/mmW, IMS (VoLTE, VoWifi, VoNR), & LTE feature technology trials and demos
  • UE Log analysis for Protocol issue debugging of NR, LTE, IMS
  • On-site support towards device makers and/or EU operators
  • Issue reporting and follow-up for resolution
  • Meetings & conf call setup with customers/carriers as per need
  • Collaborating with various teams across different QC offices as per the task
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in relevant engineering areas such as wireless communication systems, LTE/NR/IMS protocol signalling.
  • Good understanding and/or working knowledge of LTE networks and differences with NR (sub6 vs mmW, NSA vs SA).
  • 5+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications Have a telecommunications background (degree and/or relevant experience 4 to 8 years*) Be familiar with technical specifications from 3GPP Have an understanding of basic cellular technologies and network topologies. Working experience with python will be an added bonus. Travel to European locations is required
