We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support and Protect Social Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety, well-being, and empowerment of individuals facing challenging circumstances. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify risks, strengths, and needs of individuals and families.

  • Develop and implement support and protection plans in collaboration with clients and relevant stakeholders.

  • Advocate for the rights and needs of vulnerable individuals, ensuring their voices are heard within various systems.

  • Provide counseling and emotional support to individuals and families facing complex challenges.

  • Collaborate with law enforcement, legal professionals, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support.

  • Connect clients with relevant services, resources, and interventions to enhance their safety and well-being.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress for each client.

  • Conduct home visits and participate in case conferences as necessary.

  • Intervene in crisis situations and provide immediate support and protection.

  • Stay informed about relevant laws, policies, and best practices related to social work and protection services.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration.
  • Experience in supporting and protecting vulnerable individuals, including victims of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and ethical considerations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
