An opportunity has arisen in the West Locality Team based in Trowbridge for a permanent full time Level 2 Qualified Social Worker. In return for this you would be part of a supportive and evolving team, developing a service that puts the customer at the centre of everything we do.

LIVE∙WORK∙CARE

The Ongoing Support Teams are locality based and offer social work and occupational therapy services to those who require longer term social care support.

The teams help those most in need by listening and responding to the specific needs of individuals. They work alongside people to identify what is important to them and support our customers to make a plan to improve things that aren’t going so well so that they can live the life they want to.

We work with health partners to help people before they reach crisis point. We focus on identifying existing individual, family and community support, ensuring that people can live independently for as long as possible.

Rather than assuming responsibility for providing care, we look for local, sustainable and less intrusive solutions wherever they are available. We help people access the wide range of opportunities for intervention and prevention that are provided.

About The Role

You will be part of a supportive, evolving, and multi-disciplinary team, developing a service that puts the customer at the centre of everything we do.

About You

You must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England and have passed your Assessed & Supported Year in Employment.
