The job itself

The Children’s Disability Team is a small team who support our most complex children, they work in collaboration with specialist services both internally and externally to ensure that we can provide the most appropriate support to children and their families. The right candidate will have access to an excellent training offer, alongside support from the Team manager, Area Manager and our colleagues within specialist services.

The Team are passionate about ensuring the children who they support receive an excellent service, we are looking for somebody with experience of working with children with disabilities, who has understanding of the impact on the child and family, we would ideally like somebody who also has safeguarding experience however training will be available in all aspects of the role

The social work teams are looking for passionate and committed social workers, who can drive change alongside families, ensuring the safety of children and young people is at the forefront. At East Riding Council, we are passionate about ensuring that all children and families are receiving the right support at the right time and families are empowered to make lifelong changes.
