An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and supportive Mental Health Social Care Teams.

We are looking to appoint a Qualified Social Worker with sound assessment skills and a demonstrable commitment to placing customers and carers at the heart of assessment and support planning. There is a strong culture of preventative, strengths-based and asset-based approaches within our work. We work closely with partner agencies to provide an integrated approach to the delivery of support. You should ideally have experience of working with adults with severe mental ill health and of multidisciplinary working.

This post is a designated Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Post. Therefore, you will need to hold an existing AMHP qualification or be committed to undertake the post qualification pathway towards this qualification and practice as an AMHP.
We welcome applications from newly qualified social workers looking for a career in Mental Health Social Care Services. We are keen to support career development in a challenging yet rewarding field. You will be given opportunities and supported in undertaking a range of work and a broad experience of social work with the mental health specialism.
