St Peter’s CofE Junior School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to contribute to the School objectives by effectively and efficiently undertaking a range of duties to support the excellent teaching and learning of pupils; providing general and specific assistance to pupils in all aspects of the curriculum under the strategic direction of the Head teacher and with daily guidance and supervision from the classroom teacher. To promote and actively support the values and ethos of the school.

This is an exciting role for the right person to join our friendly team of teaching assistants, supporting teaching staff and pupils across our School. We require a qualified and experienced teaching assistant. You will be assisting with supervision of the pupils in the classroom, in groups and 1:1 when required. There may also be an opportunity for the right person to undertake HLTA duties, covering for teacher’s PPA time.

The successful applicants will be reliable, friendly, caring, patient and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children. They will also be a team player, committed to ensuring all children thrive.
