Job Summary

Chailey Heritage Foundation is a pioneering charity providing education, care and transition planning for young people aged 3-25 with complex physical disabilities and health needs.

Our aim is to provide a stimulating and inclusive environment where all young people are given every opportunity to make progress towards fulfilment and develop life skills in preparation for adulthood.

We are seeking……a Social Care Administrator, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, estimated start date 01 September 2021.

Description of role:

The Social Care Administrator will be responsible for providing a full administrative service to the Social Care Department and the coordination of all data relevant to the operational delivery and development of this provision.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure senior management are fully supported for meetings by providing papers in a timely manner

Assisting the Administration Manager with the electronic diaries of the senior leaders in the Social Care team

Providing support for the co-ordination and preparation of high priority appointments and meetings

Attending professional meetings and providing support with minutes, gathering confidential information and documents and providing hospitality

Arranging meetings, booking rooms, circulating information, minute taking and chasing any outstanding actions

To work alongside the Social Care Placement Manager with new referral: collating information and ensuring all funding contracts are up to date

To plan and coordinate all annual reviews for the people we support.

To undertake any other task that may be reasonably asked of you by the Administration Manager, Admin Manager or other Senior Managers

Above all, we are looking for an individual with the following:

  • Educated to GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent in English and Maths
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • Good command of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Willingness to acquire/improve skills
  • Ability to multi-task and organise/prioritise workload
  • Conscientious with a good attention to detail
