Due to our clients continued success, they are looking to add to our Skills for Life Team and appoint an:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join a top-quality Training Provider with a proven track record in the Training and Development sector.
The successful applicant will be working with the Study Programme and Skills for Life Teams, delivering both maths and English sessions as part of the Study Programme curriculum.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• planning and delivering engaging and interactive maths and English sessions for learners working towards all levels of Functional Skills English and maths.
• delivering both classroom based and remote sessions across our Accrington, Bury and Oldham centres as required.
• contributing to the continual review and development of the English and maths curriculum.
• supporting and preparing learners for live assessments at all levels of Functional Skills.
The successful applicant will be: • flexible/adaptable to the needs of the learners and the programme. • motivated to provide an excellent learning experience for all learners. • willing to undertake relevant CPD as and when required.
Essential requirements:
• A recognised teaching qualification eg CertEd, PGCE, CTLLS, DTLLS. • Minimum level 2 qualification in maths and English.
Desirable requirements:
• Knowledge and understanding of the Functional Skills Subject Content. • Previous experience of delivering Functional Skills qualifications. • Level 4/5 Subject Specialism in maths and/or English. • A knowledge of the Study Programme and/or Work based Learning.
