  • Experience in a similar Site Management role within a trade background.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within the construction industry.
  • Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office in particular Excel.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • A-C in English and Maths at GCSE level (or similar)
  • Previous experience working for a house builder of any size
  • Positive attitude, willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business
  • Promote a responsible and professional image at all times
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • A team player with leadership abilities
  • Able to prioritise and delegate tasks

What will I be doing in the role?

As a Site Manager you will be the eyes and ears of the business. You will be point of contact for principal contractors, monitoring progress and supervising the Roofspace Projects in line with the Build Programme. Being well-versed in the installation methodologies and procedures you will be able to coordinate a team of professionals to achieve the best results in a timely and efficient manner.

The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date operational records are completed to enable the Construction Manager to schedule projects accordingly and to keep a history of the project.
  • Measure project installation performance/ progress using appropriate tools, prepare detailed reports and escalate issues that cannot be managed by you, to your line manager/other departments as required
  • Supervise the installation team and give guidance where needed. Ensure that all contractors working on behalf of the company have access to all Company Policy & Procedure Documentation
  • Where required collaborate with other departments to ensure project specification is correct and Provide expert advice to colleagues on any issues that may arise
  • Ensure you have all the ancillaries required to complete an installation and pursue deliveries where required by liaising with the office
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define project build programmes and any future sites
  • Ensure full compliance with Company health, safety, security and environmental standards
  • Working hard to reach resolutions and agreements with customers and suppliers
  • Contributing to the business development of the company and safeguarding the company interests
  • Monitoring the performance of contractors working on behalf of the company
  • Accurate reporting return on time as requested
