We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Client Processing Team Lead to join our Pershing Operations team. Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisers across EMEA. We provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle office capabilities with execution, settlement and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise. This role is located in Liverpool and is hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for validating and approving all aspects of SIPP/ISA & Transfers. Tasks including; new business, transfers and contributions, ongoing servicing, outgoing/incoming payments and subscriptions. The role includes handling client and member inquiries in a professional and conscientious manner, demonstrating high levels of accuracy and customer service at all times.
  • Provides team supervision for the day-to-day operations of team, people management, developing team members, attend meetings and plan rota to cover day to day duties.
  • Ensure team operates effectively and efficiently in a controlled manner, within Service Levels and in compliance with regulatory obligation and firm standards
  • Participate in any relevant projects
  • Fulfil your obligations to escalate all matters of concern pertinent to your area to your manager in a timely manner.
  • Adheres to internal procedures, controls and regulatory requirements at all times. Maintains high quality records and administers all transactions in a timely manner. Works in a flexible, co-operative manner with team members to deliver high quality service.
  • Processing complaints/breaches at the earliest opportunity with a positive attitude, addressing the true root cause and implementing effective corrective action in order to prevent re-occurrence. Identifies reporting risks and breaches immediately to the Operational Manager and/or the relevant control/risk/data/compliance departments.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Excellent attention to detail, prioritisation and time management required
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word & Access
  • Knowledge of Financial Industry is preferable
  • Client focused with a willingness to understand and assist with complex client queries
  • Experience of team leadership is preferable
  • Good understanding of ISA’s/Pensions and the tax regime in which they operate is preferable.
