ESP Security Solutions have exciting and new career opportunities for SIA SECURITY GUARDS to start with IMMEDIATE EFFECT in the SHREWSBURY area.

Depending on the working environment and area, duties and responsibilities will vary. In general, a Security Officer will perform the following tasks:

• Patrolling and securing the area.

• Monitoring and analysing CCTV camera footage.

• Guarding valuables in a secure area.

• Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues

• Responding to alarms and emergencies.

• Communicating any irregularities with management.

• Keeping an incident report record.

• Following procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, traffic control and accident investigations 

• Checking visitors in and out of the area.

• Escorting visitors around the premises.

• Ensuring compliance with government regulations 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• You must hold a valid SIA SECURITY LICENCE OR DOOR SUPERVISOR licence

• Able to stand for long periods of time

• Be smartly presented at all times

• Must have a polite and positive attitude

• Must have excellent customer services

• Must have excellent communication skills

• You MUST be able to drive and be prepared to travel

• You MUST be flexible

• You MUST have a CAN DO attitude

• Smart black trousers

• Smart polished black shoes/boots

This is paid via Amberpay on a weekly basis

Salary ranges from £9.50-£12 per hour depending on location and experience.
