Are you an experienced operational Shift Manager looking for your next step? We are looking for a full-time, permanent Shift Manager to join us at our retail and ecommerce operation in Banbury, working alongside our customer, The Entertainer. The site is a fast paced, retail and ecommerce operation handling all returned products and equipment from their stores.

You’ll be working on a fixed early shift (07:00 – 15:30) on a 5 from 6 shift pattern. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £29,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • : Oversee the running of retail and ecommerce operation on the early shift.
  • Ensure that the site is utilising resource effectively, monitoring headcount, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Promote and develop a health and safety culture on site in line with the company’s policies.
  • Get involved with performance management, KPI monitoring and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • An operational management background, preferably with an exposure to ecommerce and retail logistics.
  • An excellent understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Experience of leading large-scale teams, providing guidance, coaching, creating development plans
  • The ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal capacity.
