We are currently looking to recruit a SHEQ Training Coordinator to work on our Welsh Water WNA contract.

You would be working in partnership with Welsh Water WNA Contract on their Capital & R&M Delivery framework. We have many exciting projects in the pipeline including a large mains renewals delivery programme, complex network growth schemes, environmental & ecological betterment schemes.

You will champion the health, safety and well-being across Welsh Water WNA Contract. As part of the operational teams you’ll be an integral part to the team, driving a positive culture for safety.

As the Training Coordinator you will be responsible for on-boarding of new starters, including Induction and other on-boarding requirements as necessary. You will need to complete regular desktop audits of Qualifications & Competencies. You will help develop training materials as required. You will need to assist in the identification of safety training needs for site-based personnel and bring these to the attention of the SHEQ Manager.

• Do you have an appropriate EUSR and Water Hygiene Cards?
• Have you any training qualifications such as PTLLS, AET etc?
• Are you a committed and proficient trainer?
• Do you have skills on Cultural Change?
• Have you experience in delivering training modules?
• You will need Strong IT skills. Proficient in all MS Office applications.
• Are you able to evaluate & understand safe practices, procedures, programmes, attitudes and to recommend methods of improvement?
• Do you have experience in delivering & implementing behaviour based safety initiatives?
