We are an industry-leading business providing critical engineering solutions to UK water utility companies across the asset lifecycle.We are currently looking for an experienced SHE Advisor with a utilities background to drive our health, safety, environmental and quality responsibilities across our water contracts.The SHE Advisor within our Water business is a critical hire for us; you will work closely with our Operations and SHEQ Director to ensure our teams achieve and sustain world class health, safety and environmental performance resulting in net zero and improved sustainability.You will have responsibility for:
  • Undertaking periodic risk assessments and implementing more robust procedures when necessary
  • Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors
  • Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams
This role will be based in our Office in Washington which will require a SHE Advisor professional with previous Water sector experience, in addition to a full UK driving license and vehicle for work purposes. You will also possess the following:
  • Understanding of health and safety issues as they relate to the property maintenance space, and ability to implement processes in line with industry standards
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors; we are looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams
  • CMIOSH or equivalent (or be working towards this)
