Service Level Manager

Radbroke or Glasgow

As a Barclays Service Level Manager, you will work with other teams within Infrastructure Services to provide sustainable stability and manage their cost and any risks whilst liaising closely with colleagues in operational functions. Your role will be to Coordinate the production of the Service Management monthly pack, with key Network & Voice Service Managers, which supports Service Reviews with Networks & Voice customers.

What will you be doing?

  • Liaising with global third party Service Providers to ensure their access to systems, service requests and administrative requests are managed and maintained efficiently
  • Preparing ad-hoc documentation, including but not limited to quotations, Health and Safety documentation
  • Actively ensuring all work related tasks are completed in a professional and structured manner and all company process and procedures are followed
  • Liaising with technology, business areas and 3rd party vendors in pursuit of resolving the Incident Problem or Change activities or communicating progress with teams
  • Negotiating prices and align support and maintenance contracts pricing to budgets
  • Preparing written communication, via formal presentations such as the Service Management pack, or ad-hoc documentation for stakeholders across the globe
  • Presenting and communicating findings clearly and be able to explain logic behind data mapping

What We’re Looking For

  • Knowledge ITIL processes of Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced user of Microsoft Excel is essential as is the ability to work with large amounts of data
  • Evidence of organisational skills and the ability to multi-task whilst ensuring quality and attention to detail under strict deadlines
  • Evidence of working with third party suppliers

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • A good team player, able to encourage colleagues to contribute but also have the ability to work independently to tight timescales
  • Experience within a customer service environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
