An exciting opportunity has come up on Barrington Ward , a 32 bedded General Medical ward for a Senior Ward Sister due to the current permanent post holder relocating . We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated nurse with well-developed leadership skills who can provide clear direction to this hard working multi-disciplinary team. Barrington currently cares for general medical patients, covid postive patients, and runs a 4 bedded Respiratory Support unit for those patients requiring an aerosol generated procedure. The role will involve clinical and managerial responsibilities to ensure that the service is safe, caring, responsive, effective and well-led. This opportunity will help you to broaden your understanding of the logistics involved in running a busy service, whilst also giving you the opportunity to support and develop junior staff and students within a friendly and caring environment. Barrington ward can be a busy and pressured environment, with 32 Single side rooms and an ever changing environment due to the pandemic and the challenges that this brings, but is hugely rewarding. We are looking for passionate and caring nurse who have previous experience in General Medical Nursing, if you are ready for a new challenge then this could be the job for you.
