We are looking for a strong leader of a new team within our hospital’s medical directorate. A chance to be a trail blazer!We are looking for a person to be mindful and respective that each and every patient needs to be treated as an individual and ensure that the team is personal to each patient. Parkinsons patients need an advocate for their care so you will need to be a dynamic and gregarious person who will provide outstanding leadership to the whole team.You will need to encourage autonomy and offer support as required. We need you to demonstrate to your team, that good leadership and new ideas can lead to fantastic care. You will inspire them to be the best that they can be as individuals whilst practicing in line with our Trust values.Triscombe Ward is a 24 bedded ward with 3 bays and 4 side rooms plus an escalation area ( 3 beds) dedicated to caring for medical patients who are medically unwell. There is a multi disciplinary team including Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists to work collaboratively in the best interests for our patients.Leading the current team will require being an active listener, being diplomatic, setting clear, measurable goals for ward achievement and being there to integrate with the team.
