As a member of the Pall User Experience (UX) team continuously advocate for the customer & user by integrating research and user-centered design activities into R&D hardware development efforts. Help teams apply UX insights into realizable design solutions. Work with other subject areas in

UX such as User Research, Human Factors and UI design to develop standards that elevate Pall products into intuitive, smart and holistic system solutions.

The Pall UX team are fluid, agile and responsive. We are a multi discipline team of User Interaction Designers, Industrial Designers, Human Factors engineers and researchers working across multiple business units within Pall Life Science (Biotech, Medical and Lab). We are embedded within project teams and work collaboratively on multiple projects to humanise future Life Science technologies that create value to our customers and users.

Core Requirements
  • Help institute user-Centricity and holistic experience design through deployment and facilitation of various workshops.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills – crafting audience-appropriate insights in an inclusive, impactful, storytelling style, from team-wide comms to presentations for C-suite executives.
  • Excellent Collaboration skills – Collaborating with a multi-disciplined team (Scientists, Engineers, Manufacturing, Marketing etc.) in a fast-paced, complex environment!
  • Engage and continuously improve Pall UX & Danaher Business Systems (Tools and Processes).
  • Ability to run multiple projects.
  • Manage 3rd party design agencies.
Requirements
  • Strong experience and portfolio of developing complex products in collaboration with cross functional teams!
  • Demonstrated experience using research to gain insights and test or validate design directions.
  • Work closely with teams to uncover needs and opportunities that inform the design of product systems (Hardware and Software).
  • Knowledge of production methods, materials and design for manufacturing.
  • Aptitude to understand technical requirements & constraints that will enable you to constructively push-back and problem-solve with teams.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools and 3D CAD for means of effective partnership and communication of designs.
