This role will be largely independent, supporting Continuous Improvement for the whole site and working with the site lead to develop and execute strategic priorities, and lead the lean transformation.

You will be required to regularly facilitate and lead kaizen teams and develop local expertise in the application of Danaher Business Systems (DBS).

Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple DBS improvement teams by using team management/change management skills.
  • Ensures improvement team targets are consistently achieved and sustained using DBS principles and Lean Manufacturing methods and practices.
  • Maintain the site kaizen funnel, ensuring that it remains healthy with events in each planning stage.
  • Use the site objectives to drive event selection
  • Actively support 5S for the site in conjunction with the DBS lead.
  • Actively participate in wider corporation DBS meetings and take ideas and direction from this.
  • Be a Champion, Enthusiast, Role Model, Coach, Coordinator, Counsellor and Mentor for the Danaher Business System!
  • Develop others in the company to become facilitators so that they may lead their own improvement processes.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor/BA degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in supporting process improvement and/or sustainable excellence.
  • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a ‘general managers’ point of view.
  • Ability to craft, develop and implement a DBS roadmap for an operation business.
  • Outstanding training and consulting skills.
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing process technologies.
  • Good writing and administrative skills, include computer literate.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time- and project management.
