Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking and proactive individual to join our Global Occupier Services Team (GOS) within a Senior Surveyor position. This role will work along side a fast paced team of professionals and will allow you to further your experience and build relationships with our clients.
  • This role will aim to provide full property management services that meet with the expectations of the retail client within the agreed fee basis.
  • Within the Occupier Management Team based in Birmingham or Manchester, work on behalf of the retail client to deliver estate management services and collaborating with other skill lines across the Cushman & Wakefield Group as required.
Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to lease terms and compliance with statutory requirements and advising clients of same
  • Identify and manage tenant lease responsibilities to ensure adherence to terms; where breaches occur manage and resolve
  • Provision of advice to clients on repair and maintenance legal responsibilities
  • Manage tenant arrears position and advise clients of appropriate routes to obtain maximum arrears recovery
  • Liaison with landlords, tenants and 3rd parties to manage and resolve property related enquires
  • Management of landlord and tenant consents to deliver legally compliant outcomes for the client
  • Manage exit strategies for freehold and leasehold properties being vacated
  • Maintenance of property related data, with responsibility for accuracy
  • Line Management responsibilities for other team members
Knowledge & Experience
  • Up to date knowledge of legislation regarding property management
  • Demonstrable technical competence in property management
  • Industry specific packages (e.g. HORIZON/TRAMPS)
  • General practice background for or within either a corporate, public sector or private practice
  • Experience in managing people
Qualifications
  • Degree level estate management qualification or equivalent desired
  • MRICS qualified
  • Membership of RICS
