Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic senior Paediatric Nurse who enjoys working as part of an innovative Paediatric Team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

We are dynamic and friendly multidisciplinary team of skilled and highly motivated staff who provide high quality care to children 0-17 yrs with a wide variety of conditions including medical, surgical, and mental health. We serve both our local population and surrounding boroughs, receiving patients through a range of sources including ED and primary care.

The paediatric department at Dorset County Hospital consists of a 14-bedded general medical and surgical ward. We also have a 5-bedded paediatric day surgery unit, a Paediatric assessment unit and a paediatric outpatients department.

Our paediatric community nursing team is based on site and we also have close links with the emergency department, Special care baby unit and Critical Care Unit.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our fantastic paediatric team for a fixed term maternity leave cover post.
