Overall Summary

Join Close Brothers HR Team where you will be reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting in the management and delivery of the compensation projects, plans and processes for employees within Close Brothers. The role will be varied with involvement in the annual compensation review process, implementing and administering compensation structures, managing remuneration regulatory requirements and disclosures, and group-wide benchmarking activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the design, planning, implementation and delivery of the annual compensation review process for all divisions
  • Contribute to the processes required to ensure remuneration structures are compliant with regulations in place within financial services
  • Take accountability for the preparation and submission of the data requirements for annual external reward reporting and reward submissions to the PRA and FCA
  • Assist in the preparation of the remuneration reports in the Annual Report and Accounts
  • Support and contribute to the preparation of papers for the Remuneration Committee
  • Responsible for the provision and receipt all necessary financial information required during the annual compensation cycle
  • Assist with the annual pay survey submission processes including data collation and analysis along with support to the business on ad-hoc benchmarking requirements
  • Work with Risk, Compliance and the businesses to assist in ensuring that all employee commission schemes are incentivising the correct behaviours and outcomes, and are compliant with all regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Responsible for other ad hoc compensation projects and processes
  • Responsible for processing and ensuring the accuracy and of all compensation data
  • Provide administrative support for the Head of Reward and HR Operations.

We Would Love To Hear From You If
  • Experience of assisting with annual compensation reviews in a financial services environment
  • Dealing with remuneration regulations within financial services
  • Experience of and the ability to manage multiple projects and processes concurrently and ensure that, through effective planning and preparation, they are delivered on time and are of high quality
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Intermediate to Advanced excel skills including formulas such as vlookups
  • Intermediate PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to extract, analyse and present data
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
  • Knowledge of employee share schemes
  • Experience of managing compensation systems
  • Substantial experience of data analysis
  • The ability to effectively balance the commercial and control aspects of reward
