We are looking for an organised, driven, and adaptable individual to grow our recruitment team based in Nuneaton. The role requires a CAN-DO attitude, if this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONTo provide a proactive and effective resourcing solution to the business and be responsible for recruitment processes from conception to fulfilment.ROLE RESPOSIBILITIES
  • Develop effective talent acquisition strategies and resourcing solutions and leverage all relevant opportunities and avenues for candidate generation, to source the best candidates.
  • Identify candidates by utilising multiple strategies including LinkedIn, job boards, social media and networking.
  • Perform effective sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs in partnership with the management team.
  • Conduct briefings with hiring managers and key stakeholders to fully understand recruitment needs and advise on resourcing strategy.
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
  • Take steps to ensure a consistently positive candidate experience.
  • Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; develop talent pool/pipeline or social engagements.
  • Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers.
  • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers in alignment with employment legislation and good practice.
  • Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process.
  • Internal talent identification and management.
  • Provide regular and insightful Management Information, reporting and analysis.
  • Provide continuous improvement to all service levels and assist in effectiveness of all costs processes and supervise all vendor policies and programs for all recruitment.
  • Early careers development – Social responsibility, Local schools, colleges, and Universities which will feed into succession planning and talent management.
  • Promoting GRS Employer Brand internal and external through internal communications/activities, social media and other channels.
  • Build candidate loyalty and engagement online and cement strong referral relationships in the local community.
  • Support with Internal talent identification and management.
  • Line manage the recruitment resourcer.
Knowledge, Training & Experience
  • Previous experience of working within a busy Recruitment department is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, communicating effectively at all levels.
  • Effectively manages the workload against competing demands, structured and organised.
  • Excellent problem solving, with ability to probe and establish facts and identify appropriate solutions.
  • Decision Making: Considers all of the appropriate factors when deciding a course of action, able to rapidly assimilate the information available on which to base decisions and make firm decisions quick required.
  • Ability to effectively use all Microsoft Word packages to a high level of ability.
  • Analysis and reporting.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of Employment Law.
  • Experience of using Cascade/IRIS would be an advantage.
