Job Purpose

To drive LGV /HGV Class 1 Vehicles to deliver Aggregate Goods to our Customer base in a Safe Efficient Manner whilst ensuring the Health & Safety of yourself and other Public road users.

Main Duties & responsibilities,
  • This is a key role within GRS to deliver goods safely to our customers whilst maintaining full legal compliance using New vehicles with the latest Technology.
  • Flat bed trailers with loading aids to assist the safety of transporting loads.
  • Driver DQC training Provided.
  • Complete all paperwork on time to satisfactory level.
  • Assisting management on site to enable better productivity.

Requirements for role,
  • Class 1 Licence CE ( Preferably held for two years )
  • Driver Tacho Card
  • DQC card ( Driver CPC )
  • Good knowledge of legal obligations regarding operating HGV’s
