Job Summary

Due to the increasing growth of the AECOM UK&I business we are now seeking a Senior Recruitment Partner to help us grow our Environment & Ground Engineering sector. This position could be based from any of our key offices in the UK. You will be joining a great team environment made up of passionate and dedicated recruiters and you will play a key role in helping the business to hire great talent.

Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the key aim of this role will be to provide a best practice life cycle recruitment service to key stakeholders within the Environment & Ground Engineering sector within AECOM. The full life cycle process will consist of working with hiring manager to refine their job descriptions, providing candidates for open requisitions, identifying and sourcing candidates, guiding candidates through our recruitment process, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. You will take a consultative approach with the business on hiring decisions, chairing feedback sessions with hiring managers and working on the development of offers and negotiating with candidates on behalf of AECOM.

In this role, you will work directly with HR Business Partners and Business Stakeholders across your sector on talent planning and recruitment. You will develop strong relationships across the organisation working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Job Duties:
  • Fully own and manage a requisition load within dedicated areas of the Environment & Ground Engineering sector and able to make an impact
  • Consult with the business on recruitment strategy, hiring and sourcing trends
  • Provides extensive breadth of market knowledge and expertise of talent acquisition process and strategies
  • Build up knowledge of your business areas to enable you to better understand their hiring needs and the skills required.
  • Actively participates in recruitment meetings with the team and the stakeholders
  • Updating and inputting information in to the ATS (Kenexa Brassring) in real time
  • Optimises job postings for marketability for internal and external positions
  • Utilises all sourcing tools available and providing innovative ideas on sourcing strategies when required.
  • Screens and interviews candidates, creates the candidate funnel on requisitions to provide the hiring manager with a slate of candidates by reviewing applications and prescreening interviews
  • Prepares candidates for interviews by supplying as much information as possible about AECOM;
  • Being a brand ambassador for AECOM
  • Represents AECOM and business lines to external partners
  • Participate in recruiting events when required
  • Supports the Talent Acquisition Manager on adhoc projects as and when required

Minimum Requirements
  • In-house recruitment experience at a senior level within a an environmental/engineering consultancy is preferable to this role, we are very unlikely to progress candidates who can not demonstrate this experience but would consider agency recruiters with relevant sector experience (environmental roles/power/engineering etc)
  • Extensive demonstrable stakeholder management experience
  • Experience attracting technical/niche talent via social media
  • Experience of creating and implementing impactful recruitment strategies that go beyond the norm
  • Ability to influence and advise stakeholders on recruitment strategy and methodology
  • Solutions and data driven approach
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations
  • Proven track record of championing and promoting diversity and inclusion within the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of interpreting, understanding and maintaining specific TA data and the positive impact clean data has on TA strategies.
  • Experience of building strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and candidates

  • Able to deal with high pressure situations in alignment with AECOM’s behavior model.
  • Systems savvy and ability to learn quickly - (such as LinkedIn Talent Insights, workday and Smart Recruiters)
