Following a substantial investment in radiology from the trust in order to expand and develop imaging infrastructure we have vacancies for enthusiastic, ambitious Diagnostic Radiographers to join our friendly and forward-thinking Radiology team at the Princess Royal University Hospital. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Radiographer seeking career development within a supportive structure.

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with an aptitude for learning and a desire to deliver exceptional patient care.

This role includes a clinical rotation through plain film, fluoroscopy, CT scanning, interventional radiology and Cardiac Catheter lab across our 3 sites, with opportunities for further development. Although previous experience of CT scanning, interventional radiology and cardiac imaging are valuable, full training in these areas will be provided.

The Radiology department at the PRUH features well-equipped CT, MRI, US, Breast, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac, Angio, Theatre and Plain film areas. We provide a 24/7 CT and Plain film service to cover Emergency Department and Acute services. The Band 6 Radiographer rotation includes OOH’s working at the PRUH and a general rotation including Beckenham Beacon Minor Injuries Unit and Orpington Hospital which supports a dedicated Orthopaedic service including theatre. Candidates will also be expected to participate in the out of hour’s shift system (including weekend, evening and night working).

Applicants for all posts must hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or the Diploma of the College of Radiographers) and HCPC registration.
