Job description

We are working alongside a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor to secure the services of a permanently employed Senior QS. Based out of offices in Leeds your first role will be to take on the responsibility for a £20m public realm scheme that is due to run well into next year.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager who will be working across a number of schemes you will be the most senior full time QS on site, essentially making you number one commercially for the project. You will be required to report on all commercial activities, keep a good line of communication open with the ops team, produce accurate forecasts, CVRs, train and mentor junior staff, and generally ensuring that you are up to date at all times.

In order for the incumbent to be as successful as possible we’re looking for somebody who has worked in a similar environment for a main civil engineering contractor, has a good understanding of general civils schemes, and is degree qualified in a relevant subject.
