Your Challenge

Do you want to work with global stars? Could you lead on PR campaigns for our commercial heavy hitters?

We have an exciting role for a passionate, confident, digitally-savvy senior publicist who loves commercial fiction to join our award-winning team, working primarily on our Century list. This is a maternity cover role expected to last until April 2022.

In this role, you will be looking after a range of high-profile authors across both fiction and non-fiction. You will have a big-picture vision and will contribute to our on-going success by planning and implementing creative, innovative and surprising publicity campaigns, developing brand strategy and organising consumer events.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys the buzz of working on high profile book campaigns. You’ll relish a challenge and will be able to respond to the demands of the role with a cool head.

You will use your excellent relationship building skills to maintain and develop your extensive entertainment, arts and literary contacts. You’ll also have a proven ability to engage with online communities as well as on- and off-line networks and influencers and react quickly to news stories.

You will be a strong team player and a proven project manager who is used to working with third parties and is able to work autonomously using initiative.

You’ll be forward-thinking, full of ideas and will ideally have experience of working with both new and established talent and authors. Trade publishing experience would be a bonus. Perhaps you’re a Senior Publicity Manager, Head of PR, Brand Manager, or Publicist; we want to hear from you.

If you would like to be considered for this role please apply with a CV and covering letter by 21st July telling us what appeals to you. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

We’re currently working remotely and expect to be able to return to our office from late July. At this point, we will also be starting a trial of hybrid working across our company and we’re happy to discuss flexible working options at interview stage. This role will be based in our London office in Vauxhall Bridge.
