As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead across the full life cycle (RIBA 0 – 7) of a variety of projects, all have a heavy slant towards MEPH. These projects will ultimately achieve decarbonisation, reduced water use, infrastructure for electric vehicles, renewable energy and reduced energy use. Over the next 7 years, you could develop and deliver up to 20 projects with values of between 5M – 20M. Your core responsibilities will be: Lead and manage the project team in the design, procurement, construction, delivery, and handover of the project to achieve desired business outcomes. Lead the development and maintenance of a culture of world class health, safety, and environmental standards Lead the identification and mitigation of risks that may adversely impact project delivery or adversely affect operations through the project Deliver to defined cost, schedule, and quality requirements, leading the successful handover of assigned projects ensuring all Operational Readiness planning and activities are in place. Lead the development of the project team; set standards, manage, motivate, coach and mentor staff within the team. Recognise talent and assist in the development of those with high potential. Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory obligations applicable to this role, including all standards and code compliance, and required planning permissions. Manage and positively influence key stakeholders (both internal & external) Lead the Lessons Identified process across all projects and embed a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure projects are completed within planned budget, timeline and quality/compliance standards.

To be successful in this position, you will: Be educated to degree level, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, alternatively a construction related degree Have demonstrable experience in working as a Project Manager on large projects or multi-year programmes within the construction or infrastructure sectors Have a strong appreciation of mechanical, electrical and public health scope Be qualified to practitioner level in project management (e.g., APMP Project Management Qualification or PRINCE2 Practitioner)

On offer is a salary of around 70,000 – 85,000 per annum along with a generous benefits package which includes a 20% bonus, a cash allowance, private medical insurance, rail discount and an enhanced employer pension contribution.
