This is an exciting opportunity to join an established M & E contracting business who are undergoing a rapid period of growth. We work across London and the South East on projects in various sectors including Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Residential, with our main office based near Romford, Essex.

As our Project Manager you will be responsible for the Site Managers as well as directing and leading our projects. This is a permanent full time role, based at our office, reporting directly through to the Managing Director.

We are an experienced forward thinking team and looking for a highly motivated self starter, who looking for a role where they can utilize their experience and initiative whilst working as part of the wider team.

Full time role working 8:00 to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, based in the office near Romford, parking on site, start date as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities.

- Taking the responsibility for the delivery of excellent operational performance and managing both directly employed and sub contracted resources

- The overall supervision and performance of the operational project team to ensure that all activities meet the programme, cost, safety and quality objectives of the Project.

- Overall responsibility of the Building Services installation on your projects .

- Deliver a quality installation, in line with client’s expectations, maximise the profitability and driving our cost whilst maintaining our standards.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget to agreed standards and ensure the project budget and costs are managed effectively.

- Manage staff performance on the project by ensuring they have clear roles and responsibilities.

- Promote Health & Safety at all times, ensuring risks are identified and mitigation measures are put in place.

- Share best practice and promote innovation.

- Be responsible for commissioning a smooth final handover.

- HNC/HND Building Services qualification or above

- CSCS/ECS/IOSH/SMSTS.

- Experience of working at a senior level on M&E projects.

- Effective communicator at all levels.

- Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.

- Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office

- Knowledge and experience working with SIMPRO would be beneficial

- Be aware of health and safety requirements and the continual assessment/control of risk

- Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
