This is an exciting opportunity to join an established M & E contracting business who are undergoing a rapid period of growth. With current projects in various sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare and education, we work across London and the South East, with our main office based in Stapleford, Essex. This is a permanent full time role, based at our office/home (mix), with regular travel to sites, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

We are an experienced forward-thinking team and looking for a highly motivated self-starter, who is looking for a role where they can utilize their experience and initiative whilst working as part of the wider team.

As our QS you will work with the wider team on M&E projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, submitting and agreeing on interim applications and final accounts including variations.
  • Ensuring the successful financial delivery of projects.
  • Assisting Estimating with tender bids
  • Analysing job performance and forecasting financials
  • Issuing contractual notices where required to protect contractual positions
  • Helping to prepare procedures and processes for smooth running of contracts

Requirements:

  • Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • QS experience in a range of building types, including commercial, residential, healthcare and education
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Proven organisational and financial management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Full time role working 8:00 to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, based in the office in Stapleford, home working and on site visits.
