Role: Senior Project Manager Location: Rushden Salary: £85,000 basic + package THE COMPANY:

Our client is one of the Leading National Contractors. They are looking for someone to join their Eastern office which is based in Northamptonshire. You will be working on projects ranging from £2m - £40m. The typical projects are Commercial, Education and Healthcare. THE JOB: Our client is looking for someone with experience of projects north of £30m. YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Responsible for instructing and co-ordinating technical consultants during the contract period
  • Liaise with the client and fully understand their needs and expectations.
  • Responsible for appointing, instructing, monitoring and co-ordinating Subcontractors
  • Exercise financial control throughout the project
  • Dealing with all project related correspondence and distributing to team members as necessary.
  • Responsible for the production of the Contract Programme
  • The production of short-term programmes
  • Responsible for the resolution of technical problems
  • Ensure completion of “snagging” at handover of the project
  • Responsible for the rectification of defects
  • Continued liaison with the client and his team
  • Assist the Estimators or Bid Managers on all aspects of the tender
  • Assist in the preparation of submission/presentation documentation
  • Arrange and attend site visits as necessary
  • Attend pre / mid / post tender interviews as necessary

    Who We Are Looking For
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
    • Construction related HNC or equivalent experience.
    • Strong construction background ideally within housing, education, healthcare and commercial with a proven track record of delivering high quality projects.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong team leader.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to think ahead.
    • CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid at Work.
    • Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Driving licence with own car. WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO:
    • A basic salary of circa £85,000.
    • Company car allowance (TBC).
    • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
